Student feedback from the workshops:

'I really enjoyed learning about her job.'

'I have just had a zoom call with a really cool person from the science centre. I think you would really enjoy it.'

'I liked seeing the experiments Rachael did in her job.'

'I liked hearing about how she encouraged other people to go to the science centre.'

'I loved it - it was so nice to meet Rachael, she was really friendly and interesting!'

'Thank you so much, it was really nice to be able to ask you questions, it was so much fun to do it online.'

Teacher feedback:

‘In the current climate, being able to link with the museum through zoom with live interaction really engaged our children with minimal effort. At this current time, our remote location on the Isle Wight and area of disadvantage means that this could not have happened otherwise. The pupils could ask questions directly, which gave more value to the questions the pupils produced and the answers given by the experts.’

‘Children were very engaged with the Q&A session; they came up with some super questions to ask, due to the preliminary work from Rachael. The answers given were very informative.’

‘The children were hooked by the experiment and wanted to find out more about STEM’
